I hope you all are doing well despite all of the craziness and being a forced homebody. With this time of having lots of free time on our hands and perhaps running out of things to do, I decided now would be a great time to offer my favorite book that I have written for free. This book makes a great family read aloud if that is your thing, or it can easily be devoured in a day with a good cup of coffee or tea. The story is one that people of both genders would enjoy as well as a story that really strikes to the heart of where mine lies. Family.

If you want to skip all the info about the book, you can head here to amazon to download your free copy. The free promotion is only live until Tuesday, March 31st so make sure you act fast to snag your copy!

Story Time:

I published this book a few years ago, and for some reason, it has been on my heart again. I pulled it off the shelf to re-read for myself.

This is my favorite book to recommend people read first. There are several reasons I recommend it above the others. I feel like this story is the most universal. It has something that will interest everyone and while all of my stories hold a piece of my heart, this one pulls on my heart-strings like none of the others do.

The story related to a lot of personal experience in my life and felt all that much more real to me as a result. One of the things about Bound that I discovered in one of the many editing phases was that I believe God’s hand was on this book in a special way. I remember editing the book and reading scenes and sections that I didn’t even remember writing. Scriptural ties, spiritual themes woven so perfectly together and heart pain connected to divine healing. . . It made me think of this verse in Daniel 2:22 “He reveals deep and hidden things;” I feel like the Lord revealed things to me in the process of writing this book and it feels so special to me because I know that it was such a special process of co-laboring with the Lord on this story. Reading it again and seeing how he breathed on the story in my heart feels so special to me.

Two souls don’t find each other by simple accident. ~Jorge Luis Borges~

Levi thought he was making this journey alone. But when he meets an eight-year-old girl at the train station, that plan is turned on its head.

Casey is running away and finds out that Levi is too. They decide to journey together and their lives are suddenly bound together in a journey they will not soon forget.

Both children come from abusive situations and are running from the dangers of their previous life. Levi is confident he can handle this on his own, but when Casey is injured on the journey, he must seek help from the first person that comes into his path, or rather people. Mr. and Mrs. Bellworth are simple farm folk with a heart for kids and a passion for serving God. When their unconditional love and gentle care surrounds Levi and Casey, the troubles of their previous lives melt away and they start to flourish. But when Casey is dragged back into the abusive world she came from, the emotional trauma, pain and distrust resurfaces. Will they be forever bound by their past? Or will God answer their prayers?
